BETTEReHEALTH becomes an official ISfTeH Working Group
We are pleased to announce that the BETTEReHEALTH project has now been officially established as an ISfTeH Working Group, check out our new website here.
The Working Group aims to foster sustainable digital health ecosystems in LMICs, promote the adoption of evidence-based eHealth solutions, facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building, and support the implementation of national digital health strategies. It builds upon the achievements of the BETTEReHEALTH Horizon Europe project, which successfully developed a pan-African eHealth network structured around four regional hubs in Malawi, Tunisia, Ethiopia, and Ghana.

The BETTEReHEALTH Working Group brings together a diverse network of experts from health services, technical fields, and academia to advance eHealth initiatives, particularly in Africa and other low-resource settings. The group emphasizes community engagement, international collaboration, and stakeholder-driven insights to inform the design and delivery of high-quality, accessible health and care services.
Our comprehensive strategy integrates human, technical, and public policy dimensions to tackle the complex challenges of implementing sustainable eHealth solutions.

BETTEReHEALTH on the Implementome platform
The BETTEReHEALTH ISfTeH Working Group is now active on the Implementome platform which is a collaborative digital space designed to connect global health implementers, researchers, and policymakers. Implementome enables users to share projects, resources, and best practices, fostering cross-country learning and collaboration to strengthen health systems. Implementome was launched in 2022 by the Geneva Digital Health Hub.
We are also pleased to share that the WHO’s Digital Health Atlas has now been integrated into the Implementome platform, creating a unified space for mapping, tracking, and coordinating digital health implementations worldwide. BETTEReHEALTH is currently also importing the BETTEReHEALTH data into the platform.

BETTEReHEALTH will use Implementome to share updates, showcase regional initiatives, and engage with partners working to advance eHealth in Africa and other low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
By joining our group on Implementome, members can stay up to date on BETTEReHEALTH activities, explore regional initiatives, engage with partners advancing eHealth in Africa and other LMICs, and contribute to a collaborative platform that highlights collective progress.
Join our BETTEReHEALTH group on Implementome to stay informed, connect with peers, and contribute to the growing digital health network!
